NEWS RELEASE \u2013 November 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the occasion of the events for the global Olive Day, the chamber initiative ANIMA TERRA was presented on November 24\/2023, in the city of Koper, Slovenia. The event coincided with the splendid presentation of the accession of the olive-producing municipality of Koper to the Network of Mediterranean Olive Producing Cities (RECOMED), announced by the Mayor of Koper, Ale\u0161 Br\u017ean, and the President of the Network, Mr. George Karabatos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANIMA TERRA was introduced to a broad audience, including local farmers, Producers, and representatives of the points of interest of the Cultural Route Network “Routes of the Olive Tree” in Slovenia. Additionally, the proposal for the creation of the 3rd ELAIONA OF PEACE and the ‘Community of Routes of the Olive Tree’ was suggested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stands along the city streets, showcasing local agricultural products and creations from local artists, gained particular interest. The city’s decoration with olive branches on doors, balconies, and windows was a way for residents to honor the olive tree and express their gratitude for its offerings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event in Koper reflected the value of the olive tree as a symbol of peace and culture, enhancing the international character of ANIMA TERRA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
